Holy Snow!
Wowza! What a week, huh?
I have lived in Georgia my whole life and I think that even if I add up all the snow from my lifetime it would still be less than we got this week. Sunday night Sean and I went out and walked in the snow as it was still falling and it was nice and fluffy and powder like. As we all know, by Monday morning it was still beautiful to look at, but covered in a layer of ice.
Ice... Ice is evil. I ...

You can help bring missing children home too!
The fear is heart-stopping. You turn around to talk to your toddler, and they aren't there. You look in the yard to see what game those silly kids are playing now....and there is no one in site. Your child isn't home from school yet....and they should have been a half hour ago. Even if the fear only lasts a second before you spot that precious face....it is paralyzing. And for some, for far too many, that fear lasts longer than most of us can even ...

Make Rice Pudding!
During my pregnancy I discovered that I L-O-V-E rice pudding. I have looked for recipes several time and they just seem like too much work when I can just buy the yummy orange cozy shack container instead.
However, while looking for a yummy chicken and rice Crockpot recipe, a recipe for rice pudding popped up and it seemed too simple not to try. It turned out delicious! I cut the recipe in half and have easily 10 servings so I will post the amounts I used.

Say Yes To Hot Cocoa, Really!
I never associated hot cocoa with good health. But once again, I have been proven wrong!
Hot Cocoa vs. Hot Chocolate?
Their differences are nutritional. Hot cocoa is made from raw cocoa powder, which is pressed chocolate which removes the fat of the cocoa butter. Hot chocolate is made from chocolate bars melted into a cream or ground into a powder. Often hot chocolate has a very high sugar and fat content and low cocoa content. The nutrition in hot Cocoa can be very good for you, especially if you ...

Ideas to Honor a Legend
Who was born on January 15, 1929? A man who believed in equality and peace...Martin Luther King, Jr. Here are some ways to honor this man.

Photographing Babies – Tips from Kodak
- Shoot from your perspective
Document your interactions with your baby. Try including your arms in the photo as you interact with your child. If you’re giving them a bath, shoot from the angle you are really at in that moment. Capture things as realistically as possible and from the angle that only a parent sees.
- Try a new perspective
Get down to your baby’s eye level and see the world through their eyes. Sit on the ground, or lay down if you need to. Physically moving to their ...
