Enjoy a self-guided adventure through the Center's Museum. See iconic Jim Henson characters on display including: Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie. Then, tour our Global Collection with puppets from around the world!

Worlds of Puppetry Guided Tour, 
Weekdays 1pm, Saturday 11am
This in-depth look at the Center’s museum includes a tour of our new Jim Henson Collection and Global Collection galleries! Journey across the continents to learn about puppetry traditions from around the globe during this interactive guided tour that includes an activity sheet for children. Recommended for all ages

Jim Henson Collection Guided Tour, Weekdays 3pm, Weekends 1pm
Take a special guided tour of the Center’s new Jim Henson Collection gallery, the most comprehensive exhibit of Henson’s work in the world. See some of your favorite characters from The Muppet Show and Sesame Street while learning about the life and legacy of this iconic American puppeteer.

Behind the Scenes Tour, Saturday and Sundays, 3pm

Old MacDonald's Farm, Aug 2 - Sept 11, 2016
Little ones will move, sing, and help the farmhands on Old MacDonald’s farm. This new interactive show is full of puppets, music, and a lot of fun down on the farm!

Jim Henson’s The Storyteller and Farscape Sep 24, 2016 @ 8pm
An old storyteller tells European folk tales to his sarcastic dog. Thrown into a distant part of the universe, an Earth astronaut finds himself part of a fugitive alien starship crew.

Costuming: Puppets, Muppets & Mascots September 26, 2016
Storytelling is the most important part of theater production. Whether it is done with a sock or a full body puppet, costuming must help tell that story. We will discuss historical and character research, fabric shopping for inspiration, sewing techniques and resources that contribute to design and construction. We will also explore the special needs required for costuming performance puppets that can come in small, medium and large sizes! A bibliography and a list of sources will be provided.

La Cucarachita Martina, Sept 28 - Oct 9, 2016
Martina, everyone’s favorite little roach, finds happiness and friendship as she searches for love. A comical story based on a popular Cuban and Puerto Rican children’s tale.
