GIVEAWAY: IKEA's 2015 Catlaog & a chance to win $100

August 28, 2014
I recently went to IKEA ATLANTA for the first time, although I've lived here for over 5 years! I've always heard it's a furniture store, and although I was in need of furniture over the years, it was not my first choice - now I realize how wrong I was. The minimalistic designs, quality and low rates are perfect for every budget and every home decor, from the struggling college student, to couples, to families with kids (who well - can be destructive).

Besides furniture, they have everything you need for your home - from your kitchen, to bathroom, and of course bedroom, and living room and everything in between. They have great accessories, and again really great prices. The prices are even better for certain items if you're an IKEA FAMILY member, which is a free rewards program you can join online or in-store. It gives you
money-saving discounts on select products, invites to in-store special events, insider scoops and sneak previews - plus a bunch of freebies!! - You can get FREE coffee or hot tea at the restaurant, 30min extra time at Smaland (the FREE babysitting/play area for kids), FREE Wi-Fi, and you get 90 Day Price Protection.

Besides all that, they have the most amazing Restaurant and Marketplace, that has very unique and delicious entrees, snacks, desserts, and beverages. When I mentioned I was going to IKEA, many of you mentioned I should try their Pear juice (which is like a sparkling cider, and is amazing!), their yogurt, their Cinnamon Buns, and their Meatballs to name a few. I tried it all! and more! It's quite an experience, and I plan to go again just for the food! Another great FREEBIE is KIDS EAT FREE every Tuesday - no purchase necessary!

After touring the store (and shopping all the while) and feasting on all the deliciousness, I was able to check out their new catalog. It's chock full of great products and great ideas. I feel like a kid does with the Toys R Us Big ToyBook at Christmastime- circling all the things they want. I was circling things on page after page. I love the clean, simple lines and pops of color.

Besides all the great stuff they have as is, I'm sure you've seen on Pinterest all the IKEA HACKS - where they transform IKEA pieces into play kitchens and lego tables, and so forth. IKEA really is the place to shop!

I have to add that my greatest find at IKEA was learning that they have a 25 year guarantee on mattresses. AND they have a low delivery fee where they will not only deliver your mattress to your home, but remove the old one too! Some mattresses can even be rolled up to fit in your car - hard to believe, right? You'll just have to head into the store to see for yourself.

The customer service is great at IKEA. They all go above and beyond to make sure your experience is easy and pleasant. I love that they have pads and pencils at various stations to help you make your list, they have twine in the parking decks for you to secure your purchases, and they offer great services like shopping for you! You just tell them what you want, and they get it for you and either you pick it up or they deliver. There is a small fee for it, but how great is that! There are also staff on the floors ready to answer your questions, and they are very knowledgeable.

Lastly another great thing about IKEA is that you really get to customize your home. They don't sell "Beds in a Bag' or "sets" - you pick up individual pieces, and can mix and match to get the personal style and comfort you want.

I hope after reading all that you're ready to go check out IKEA and the new catalog for yourself. Here's a little something to help you out - a $100 IKEA GIFTCARD GIVEAWAY!
