Recap: Doc McStuffins Preview Party

September 29, 2014
Last Saturday was very eventful as most of our Saturdays are. First, we went to a Doll Breakfast at Chick-Fil-A Scenic Highway. Then we hosted a Pre-Screening of TWO new episodes of Doc McStuffins at Once Upon a Fairytale in Lawrenceville.

Over 10 parents and 20 kids rsvped for the event, and showed up ready to party. A few showed their disney side by wearing costumes or themed clothing, especially those of Doc McStuffins. Some kids bought their dolls and plushes, like their teddy bears and lambies to get checked up.

Before the show screening, they enjoyed snacks, coloring pages and activity books with a sticker play scene, a check-up area, Doc McStuffin puzzles, a Doorknob hanger craft, and a souvenir pink and purple hairbow. They also enjoyed playing limbo! - and it was all free! Macaroni Kid Snellville loves to support local businesses, bringing the community together, and offering priceless memories for free (or cheap)!

The kids were all eager to see the show, and when the screening started, there was pure silence and enraptured eyes glued to the screen - even the adults. I love shows that appeal to the whole family, because it's important for parents to know what their kids are watching. Doc McStuffins is a family-friendly show that teaches kids valuable life lessons, and encourages good behavior. MacGirl is 9, and she still occasionally likes to watch the show!

New episodes have already debuted on Disney Junior. If you haven't checked them out yet, what are you waiting for!?

Disclosure: I was sent the DVD and items to preview at this party and payment was received for the purpose of this review.
