Recap: Suwanee Fest September 2014

September 29, 2014
Last Saturday was an eventful day as most our Saturdays are. We went to a Doll Breakfast at Chick-Fil-A Scenic Highway, and then had a Doc McStuffins Pre-Screening Party at Once Upon a Fairytale. Afterwards we visited Suwanee Fest at Suwanee Town Center Park.
We parked at a nearby lot (there were several) and took a shuttle bus to the festival. The bus was very clean, spacious, and timely. When we exited, there were numerous volunteers all making the experience an easy and pleasant one. There were so many booths I didn't think we'd get to visit them all, but in the end I believe we did visit them all - It's usually a 2day festival, so you can take your time and browse at your leisure. The booths were very informative to the adults, and almost all had free prizes or treats for the kids. MacGirl got/won a cinch bag, visor hat, water bottle, hand sanitizer, pencils, trinkets, candy, and even a teddy bear!

There were lots of delicious food stands, even local honey, and Free Keurig iced drinks to keep us cool and refreshed!

I loved this festival, and I love that Georgia offers so many great festivals - It's a great way to make family memories, without breaking the bank!
