ALPHARETTA
  • October 25: FREE Halloween Event at North Point Mall: Kids are invited from 1PM until  3PM to trick-or-treat in the mall, make and take a craft, and enter to win giveaways.
ATLANTA 
  • October 1-31: Scarecrows in the Garden at Atlanta Botanical Garden. View the uniquely crafted scarecrows and enjoy numerous kid-centric activities that are included with the cost of admission.
  • October 3-31: Brick-or-Treat at LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Enjoy lots of Halloween fun like trick-or-treating, scavenger hunts, costume contests and more at LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Phipps Plaza in Buckhead each weekend in October included with the price of admission.
  • October 24: Mummies and Milkshakes at the Carlos Museum 6-9:30PM. Wear your costume, purchase your favorite Jake’s Ice Cream milkshake then watch funny vintage mummy cartoons and the hilarious Three Stooges short, We Want Our Mummy, followed by Abbot and Costello Meet the Mummy. You can also view the animal and human mummies in the Egyptian galleries in the museum. $5 admission, shakes sold separately.  RSVP required by calling 404-727-0519 before Oct 22.
  • October 24: FREE Spooky Film Festival at Atlantic Station: Beetlejuice on the Central Park lawn. BYO picnic and relax with friends, family, or a date! 
  • October 25: BOO-seum at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History from 10am -2pm. Celebrate Halloween in a fun and safe atmosphere with treats and prizes for kids in costume,  fun games, live music and more. Included with admission.
  • October 25: Halloween Fun with Flashlights at Fernbank Science Center at 1PM children 6 years old and younger are invited to have fun under our stars. Wear your costume and bring a flashlight. $5 per person.
  • October 25 & 26: Zoo Atlanta’s Boo at the Zoo: Costume contest from 11am -2pm, treats, crafts & live DJ party and lots of characters in Zoo Boo Town with more than 1,500 animals from around the world. Don’t forget your costume! Included with admission.
  • October 31: Halloween Night on Callanwolde Mountain from 6-9PM. This unique Halloween adventure features trick-or-treating all over the Callanwolde estate, the Atlanta Braves organist playing creepy carols, costume contest, storytelling, food trucks, and more! $5 at the door.
  • October 31: FREE Trick-or-Treating at Atlantic Station from 4-7PM 
  • October 31: FREE Spooky Film Festival at Atlantic Station: Hocus Pocus on the Central Park lawn. BYO picnic and relax with friends, family, or a date!  
CARTERSVILLE
  • October  25: Halloween Hayrides at Red Top Mountain State Park: 7-10PM  Take a “spooktacular” hayride through Ravenwood, an old ghost town, and listen closely as storytellers bring ghosts and goblins to life around a campfire. This event is family-friendly and great for all ages. $10 per person plus $5 parking.
CHAMBLEE 
  • October 25: Chamblee's FREE Annual Halloween Spooktacular at Kestwick Park from 11am- 3pm.  Family-friendly fun includes a costume contest for all ages, a spooky haunted house, hay rides, games, a cupcake walk, and more.
CUMMING
  • October 25: Forsyth County Trunk-or-Treat at Coal Mountain Park from 6-9pm.  – The event will include youth self-defense demos, stranger danger, fire safety and traffic safety.  Also, participants can enjoy candy, face painting, tattoos and food. Cost: One bag of candy per family to enter.
DECATUR
  • October 26: FREE Haints and Saints Halloween Parade at 4PM.  bring your weird and enjoy an evening of fun!! Join this community parade or just watch from the side lines!
DULUTH
  • October 25: Train or Treat at Southeastern Railway Museum from 10am-5pm. Enjoy train rides, fall crafts, trick-or-treating at decorated stations around the museum, wagon rides, fall themed refreshments, and hand car rides. most activities included with admission. Costume contest for kids 12 and under from noon until 3pm.
  • October 31: FREE Howl on the Green from 6-11pm. Trick or treating, costume contests, inflatables, games and music!
  • October 31(4-9pm),November 1(11am-8pm) & November 2(11am-5pm): Mall-O-Ween Weekend at Gwinnett Place Mall  –  Enjoy a carnival, mall wide trick-or-treating, a magician with a fire show, bounce houses, costume contests & face painting. $5 donation for all games with prizes.
GAINESVILLE
  • October 25: FREE Trick or Treat on the Trail from 3-5pm. Trick-or-treat at whimsecal house fronts with tons of candy along the Midtown Greenway trail that simulate going door to door, petting zoo, costume contest and more. 
JOHNS CREEK
  • October 24: Preschool Spooky Mill at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve from 11am-2pm. Scavenger Hunt, Bounce House, Craft, Games, Stories, meet an animal, and more are all included with the $7.00 admission. This event is especially for children ages 3-6.
  • October 24 & 25: FREE Spooky Mill at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve from 6-9pm. Trick-or-treat, Haunted House, Bounce House, concessions, games and more! Purchase $1 tickets for food and some activities.
NORCROSS
  • October 25: FREE BOOfest & Skeleton Crossing in Norcross,  3-5:30PM. Costume contest & parade, noise makers, hot dogs and tons of fun! Children 5 & Under, 6-12 and Teens for: Best Boy’s Costume Best Girl’s Costume and Most Original Winners will be given a Halloween pumpkin prize with treats. Dogs will be selected to win for: Most Original Costume Best Dog & Master Combo Costume Funniest Costume. Winning dogs will receive wag bags with a toy.
ROSWELL
  • October 25 & 26: Halloween Hikes at Chattahoochee Nature Center beginning at 6:30pm. Take your child on a 45 minute, guided, well-lit hike through the forest to meet woodland creatures and hear about their lives. It’s the perfect non-scary alternative to traditional Halloween events. Enjoy a bonfire and live music after. Cost $9 per person, Children 2 and under are FREE
