Jany 23-Feb 7, 2015, Live Arts Theatre, Gwinnett Place Mall, 2100 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth

Hi, it's MacGirl here to tell you the plethora of copious interesting reasons that you should notify your calender about the new play, "Dorothy meets Alice" at the amazing Gwinnett Place Mall. First, before I get to the details, I suggest that you park at the main entrance. This will get you closer to the play and a shorter distance to walk. As we walked in, the staff gave us our tickets and we saw the concession stands. we strolled in into the theater and sat down in our seats. we were close up to the stage.

My mom and I drank hot tea. We had a choice of water, diet coke, iced tea, hot tea, or lemonade. There were choices of triple chocolate cake or cheese cake. You could choose from m&m's, trail mix and other yummy candied treats. This was all included in the ticket package that we got (Mad Hatter's Tea Party - Front row reserved, interactive theatre experience).  When they showed us where we were siting, I was amazed!

We were in the first ever sold out show of Live Arts Theater. T
he performance was wonderful! during the performance I got pulled in to play games like tag and ring around the rosy with Dorothy, Alice, and Judson. One other person from the audience was called up to play with them. The Mad Hatter had me doubled over in laughter!

After seeing the play, the cast comes out and you get to meet them. I told the Mad Hatter a joke.
At first he laughed, but then he got mad at me and I was confused. Well I guess everyone is confused by the Mad Hatter. The Wicked Witch of the West and the Red Queen of Hearts have something in common, but you'll have to find that out when you  go see the amazing play that is Dorothy meets Alice. Definitely go see it or you'll miss out on a once in a life time opportunity to see what crazy, untold things happen when Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz meets Alice from Wonderland.

2100 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth GA 30096

THE SHOW:
Two of literature’s most unforgettable young ladies get mixed up together in a magical meeting that produces hilarious results as the audience becomes reacquainted with a cast of familiar characters and sees them in a new light: the Cowardly Lion, the White Rabbit, the Tin Man, the Mad Hatter, the Scarecrow, the Dormouse, the Queen and the Witch from those enduring classics The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland.

This fun-filled romp follows Alice and Dorothy and their coteries as they try to unscramble their stories with the help of a contemporary young lad who started the whole thing to begin with when he put off a book report until the very last minute. With script and lyrics by award-winning children’s playwright Joseph Robinette and a fresh score of eminently singable tunes by Broadway musical director Karl Jurman, Dorothy Meets Alice is a fun and fanciful fantasy at its finest. As the two girls would say, “Wiz you were Hare!”
