We arrived early to participate in "Feed the Children Day", and to ride a few rides. It was a HOT day! I sure wished we could have jumped into "Hurricane Harbor" but knowing we would be at the concert later I hadn't packed the appropriate clothes and necessities. We kept cool with an umbrella (which also came in handy because it rained on us several times), with Free (non-bottled) water that you can get from any of the concession stands, and unlimited soda refills for our Souvenir cup (with a wristband purchase).
We waited in line with hundreds of other teens, tweens and their parents. It was a LONG wait (a smartphone with games and apps was our saving grace). Aptly named, the Run Around Tour consists of TWO stages, opposite each other, and after one performer concludes their set, you run to the other stage to see the next performer, and on it went, until the final 2 headliners (Matty B and Zendaya) performed on the same stage.

The setting was very intimate, with small stages, and small "pits" but which really allowed the audience to connect with the artists. There were no seats, but if there were, I think only the adults would have been sitting. The tickets are general admission...there are no assignments whatsoever, although there was a small section set up for VIPS, but honestly everyone was mingled together, VIP or not, in the general area. The kids were all up and dancing, or pressed as close to the stage as possible, our girls included who had "front row" views (basically a first come, first served situation).
Although the girls hadn't heard of most of the artists prior to going, they left as fans, especially for "Matty B" (who is an amazing performer, as well as his dancers) and "New Republic" who were so kind to allow a photo opp and sign autographs. Other artists included the very popular "Jacob Whitesides", as well as "Before You Exit", "Nick Tangorra", "Jordan Fisher" and "Spencer Sutherland".

There was rain, lots of it, right before Zendaya came on. And there was thunder, lightening, and a very short power outage...BUT none of that stopped the party.
Even though it was HOT, WET, and we had LONG periods of WAITING, and even a bit SCARY with the thunder, lightening, and darkness, and the fact that they didn't "KNOW" many of the artists performing- the girls said this was their FAVORITE CONCERT EVER -and just so you know they have been to "The Jonas Brothers", "Selena Gomez" and "The Fresh Beat Band" to name just a few... Tweenagers, Go Figure.
