On Monday, Aug. 29, Pollo Tropical, the island-inspired fast casual restaurant known for its citrus-marinated, flamegrilled chicken, introduces new Churrasco Flame-Grilled Steak, available through Sunday, Oct. 30. Churrasco, the Portuguese term for grilled beef, is a popular dish in Latin American countries like Brazil, Argentina and Chile. Guests can enjoy juicy, flame-grilled steak in the Churrasco Quesadilla Salad, TropiChop® bowls, platters, as an add-on in family meals or a la carte.
The Churrasco Quesadilla Salad features churrasco with fresh romaine lettuce, black bean fiesta mix, tortilla chips, shredded cheese, two cheese-filled tortillas and chipotle ranch dressing. Guests can also choose churrasco as the meat for a customizable TropiChop bowl, with their choice of a rice or romaine lettuce base and toppings like beans, chopped fresh tomatoes, corn, sautéed onions and peppers and fresh onions plus a choice of sauce. The Churrasco Platter will include a side of rice, beans and a roll, and guests can add on an order of churrasco to a family meal, which includes a whole grilled chicken, four rolls and choice of sides.
Pollo Tropical will also bring back guest favorite Cheezy Yuca Bites for a limited time. Cheezy Yuca Bites are bite-sized pieces of Caribbean yuca filled with cheese then fried golden to perfection and served with a creamy cilantro garlic dipping sauce. For even more flavor, guests can visit Pollo Tropical’s famous Saucing Island and enjoy them with any of the 10 signature sauces, including Guava Barbecue and Spicy Poyo-Poyo.
