I have a 4-year old who is in love with music, but trying to find a music class for his age-group that wasn't kindermusic, was very difficult. Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music, however was the answer to my searching. My son loves his "Music for Little Mozarts" class and is learning fingering, timing, notes, and everything we wouldn't have been able to teach him since we're his parents. Located in Gwinnett County, this music school specializes in music education for preschool and elementary-aged children. “Little Stars” is a unique piano curriculum for ages 3-6. The visual recognition of letters, listening/discerning specific sounds, and clapping rhythms will reinforce the skills children need for early music literacy. “Music for Little Mozart’s” is a fun and exciting group piano class for ages 4-6. Piano instruction is provided for young beginners while simultaneously developing social skills and listening skills. The class lasts 3-6 months with the objective of each child graduating to private lessons!
