INK Grand Reopening

Interactive Neighborhood for Kids, Inc Grand Reopening February 1, 2019

Almost five months following a disastrous flood on September 9, 2018, INK is preparing for its Grand Reopening. Thanks to the hard work of INK staff, numerous community volunteers, and professional contractors, the repairs and renovations are nearing completion. With carefully restored favorite exhibits and freshly designed and installed new exhibits, the fun and imagination that is essential to INK will resume on February 1, 2019.

INK has been a mainstay in the community for 16 years, as a venue for children, their families and educators to play, learn, imagine and grow in a safe “neighborhood” environment. Through play, children are motivated to learn and develop life skills that will shape the adults they will become.  Children of all ages, abilities and experiences can develop their full potential through exciting, hands-on learning.  New exhibits will include a revamped bank experience presented by Pinnacle Bank and a nod to manufacturing and HR with ZF Industries.

Reopening activities will include a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 1:00pm on Feb. 1, 2019 followed by guided tours to see the changes and restorations that have taken place. Regular operation will resume on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Birthday Party and Field Trip Reservations are now open to visit the newly revamped INK. Regular operating hours will once again be Monday – Saturday, 10:00am-5:00pm, and Sunday 1:00-5:00 pm. Admission is $8.00 per person Monday – Saturday and $6.00 per person on Sundays.
