My third child, Aubrey needed a trim of her curls. She had bouncy curls on top, and then beneath, she had straight hairs, so we needed a basic trim to make it all look uniform. Aubrey is turning 3 next week and had never had her haircut before, so I didn't want to take her to SuperCuts where she might scream. When we moved to Grayson, we found a haircut place specifically for kids, Just Kids Kuts, so it was only natural that this came to mind when our need arose.
When you first walk in, you see child-sized fun chairs, my daughter chose the pink Jeep to sit in, and tv's playing Disney movies to keep the kids occupied while their hair is being cut. There is also a play area for the kids who are waiting, but we didn't take advantage of that since we walked in and there was no wait. Michele was gentle with my daughter and you could tell she loves kids. She suggested the solution we needed to tame her hair and just how short to cut it. I appreciated that since I want to keep the curls for as long as possible, my nine-year old had super curly hair when she was that age, but it has straightened out as she's grown older.
Overall, I would recommend giving them a try next time your kids need a haircut. Keep in mind they only accept cash and check.
