Ah date night. I'll admit that we're in a rut. We love love love doing escape rooms. Our first escape room experience was one-year ago at Escape Plan GA and we loved it so much that we've done two others since then. We ended up at Escape Plan GA again last Friday. They were launching a new room, Motel Nightmare, so they were thrilled to have us test it out.
Let me start by saying I consider myself a pretty intelligent person, but even with a Master's Degree, we were not able to figure this out. We spent 20 minutes on the first clue, and where time is of the essence and you only have one hour to figure out 19 clues, you don't have any time to waste. You walk in the room and you're immediately immersed in the whole experience of being in a "roach" motel, complete with the fake roaches scatter throughout the room and even hiding in the bedding.
Note, this is a difficult room. On a scale of 1-5 I would give it a 5. Only for the well-experienced escape room sleuthes. Regardless of not winning, we had a blast and will return to do another room soon. Thanks for the invite.
Note: Escape Room GA gave us tickets in exchange for a review, however all opinions are my own
