During fall break my family took a well-deserved mini-vacation to Chattanooga. To take advantage of the beautiful weather and scenery, we took a stop at Rock City. The last time I'd been to Chattanooga was when I was a child, so I didn't know what to expect.
Rock City is situated on the top of Look Out Mountain. Rock City is composed of natural trails through the mountain to the top cumulating in the iconic site where you can see 7 states from the top. Of course, somehow we missed that part and I was not going to unload the kids from the car, but we still saw some impressive views. Even though Rock City was crowded, it did not seem crowded, people were allowed to go at their own pace, there are little rest areas once in a while with benches. There were wheel-chair paths that took you around the stairs, narrow passageways, and swinging rope bridges. Those were the best part besides the views at Rock City. My family especially liked the swinging rope bridge and the narrow passages. Throughout the trails, there were cute doors and gnomes. It quickly became a game of who could spot the next gnome first.
Towards the end of the trail, you enter a cave which is interspersed with fairy tale characters and scenes. It was nice going through and seeing all of them. Overall, it was a beautiful day spent with my family where we saw wonderful sites.

Ticket prices vary based on dates. The best prices are buying a combo ticket to Ruby Falls, Rock City, and other attractions throughout Chattanooga.
Rock City Provided Family Passes to Snellville Macaroni Kid, however, these are my own opinions.
