Embassy Suites in Chattanooga Offers an Oasis Away from Downtown

By Rachel Horlacher, Publisher of Snellville-Grayson-Stone Mountain Macaroni Kid January 23, 2020

When my family went to Chattanooga this past Fall, we decided to stay at the Embassy Suites in Chattanooga. The Embassy Suites was not right in downtown, which is preferable to us since we don't like crowds, and would rather drive a little bit than stay right where everything is happening. We chose Embassy Suites since they do a free made to order omelet station breakfast buffet. With three kids that seem to have a bottomless leg, this was perfect since we could feed them until they were stuffed. Also, they have a cocktail hour from 5 pm until 7 pm with snacks and free drinks for the adults, which translated into virgin everything for us since we choose not to drink. These snacks are not meant to replace dinner, but enough to curb the hunger until you can get something, which there are several restaurants nearby that were super yummy.

The rooms themselves are huge and fit our family of 5 perfectly with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa in the "living room" area. My kids especially loved that there were 2 TVs and could watch what they wanted at the same time that mom and dad can watch something else. A plus for mom and dad was that there was a door that separated the two rooms.

I highly recommend staying at the Embassy Suites in Chattanooga next time you want to do more than a day-trip to Chattanooga.
