Escape Plan Georgia Offers Fun Family Game Nights

By Rachel Horlacher, Publisher of Snellville-Grayson-Stone Mountain Macaroni Kid September 11, 2020

My husband and I had our first date day since the quarantine happened. Our favorite activity to do these days is Escape rooms. We decided to try a new room we'd never done before at Escape Plan Georgia in Loganville. The room we chose was The Haunting of Camp Rutledge. The premise of the room is that a boy went missing at Camp Rutledge in the 80's and the cabin was locked until now. It is your job to figure out what happened to the little boy, Ethan in one hour. Each room is decorated to the theme of the room, so ours had a set of bunk beds, lockers, and a little camp stove. You have to inspect the room for clues and figure out puzzles to go from one step to the next. In the end, we won and figured out what happened to Ethan and still had 4 minutes to spare. This was our first time finishing a room, we did have some help with clues, out of the three we've tried. We felt so accomplished.

Escape Plan is creating a new room opening on September 22nd, titled Game Night.....In Deed. Your aunt has died and left the deed of the house somewhere. It is your job to locate the deed before the bank repossesses the house. The aunt was a lover of board games, so there are lot of puzzles for both adults and children to do. Thus, it is a perfect family game night.

Escape Plan is also starting a program for Family Game Night where if you buy 4 or more tickets (for your family), tickets are only $15 a person on Tuesday nights.

Overall, I highly recommend Escape Plan Georgia, it's our go-to date night/day activity.
