Description
Come out to celebrate Earth Day with Gwinnett Solid Waste and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful on Saturday, April 27 from 9:00am to noon at Coolray Field! Residents can drop off electronics, clothing and sneakers, latex and oil-based paints, and tires. Paper shredding will also be available.
You’ll have an opportunity to participate in various activities like touch-a-truck and face painting.
Here are a few things to keep in mind before attending:
• Paper shredding is limited to five copier paper boxes
• Oil-based and latex paint will be accepted and limited to 10 gallons per vehicle
• Tires without rims are limited to eight tires per vehicle: no dealer tires
• Electronics recycling is free except for TVs, monitors, and printers – ($35 cash fee per projection/console TV; $15 cash fee per computer monitor or TV; $5 cash fee per printer)
We’re also accepting expired medications at the Gwinnett Police table located in the exhibit area.
