Splash Pads and Water Features

Summer in Georgia is HOT!!! Let's try to stay cool by visiting our local splash pads and water features in the parks.

Here are the water features in Gwinnett county and neighboring communities:

• Splashpads and Fountains:
  • Duluth Town Green: Main Street Duluth: Fountain, no shade. 
  • Lilian Webb Fountain: 5 College Street NW Norcross: Fountain, no shade
  • City of Sugar Hill: 1166 Church Street Sugar Hill: Fountain
  • EE Robinson Park: 850 Level Creek Rd Sugar HIll: Splashpad with playground, shaded for parents, some for kids
  • Braselton City Park: 115 Harrison Street Braselton: Splashpad
  • Buford Community Center: 2200 Buford Hwy Buford: Splashpad, no shade
  • Mall of Georgia: 3333 Buford Dr Buford: Fountains, little shade
  • Suwanee Town Center: 330 Town Center Ave Suwanee: Splashpad, little shade, very crowded with field trips
  • Peachtree Corners Town Center: 5200 Town Center Blvd Peachtree Corners: Splashpad
• Parks with Water:
  • Rabbit Hill Park: 400 Rabbit Hill Rd Dacula: Man-made creek running through the playground area, not shaded by the creek. 
  • Tribble Mill Park: 2125 Tribble Mill Pkwy SE Lawrenceville: If you follow the parking lot by the playground to the end, park, there is about a quarter of a mile paved trail that ends at a shallow rocky area of the river. There are signs posted to not swim or wade, not sure if people abide by it or not. 
  • W.P. Jones Memorial Park: 3750 Pleasant Hill Rd Duluth: Shady creek for wading, not sure if there are signs posted saying no wading
  • Jones Bridge Park: 4901 E Jones Bridge Rd Peachtree Corners: Park right on the Chattahoochee River with river access
  • Freeman's Mill Park: 1401 Alcovy Rd SE Lawrenceville: Trail to a waterfall, signs saying no wading or swimming, playground has a water feature
  • Harbins Park: 2995 Luke Edwards Rd Lawrenceville: Small man-made creek area running through the playground
  • EE Robinson Park: 850 Level Creek Rd Sugar Hill: Splashpad with playground, shaded for parents, some shade for kids
  • Braselton City Park: 115 Harrison Street Braselton: Splashpad
  • Lilburn City Park: 76 Main Street NW Lilburn: A creek runs a little ways away from the playground, plus a splashpad
• Pools
  • Kelly Cofer Pool: 4259 N Park Dr Tucker: Outdoor Pool with  a splashpad
    • 2 and under: Free
    • 3-12: $3
    • Adults: $5
    • Seniors and veterans: $3
    • Annual Passes:

        • Each additional person: $40

  • Milam Park Pool: 3867 Norman Rd Clarkston
    • Residents may bring proof of residency in the form of a tax bill or utility bill to City Hall Annex beginning on May 20th to be issued a City of Clarkston residency card.  This residency card will be presented to the front desk attendant and will allow the cardholder to be admitted to the pool at the resident rate.
