I recently had the pleasure to host a Toy Time party, previewing this season's hottest toys. One of the hot toys this year, is actually a throwback toy - Lincoln Logs. I'm actually not familiar with them, but it seems like a lot of people are! Do you remember them from your childhood? They were a big hit with the boys and girls (and several of the parents)! I loved that the kids joined in together to work as a group, regardless of age or gender. These K'Nex kits will make perfect Family Game Night additions. We do "Friends Game Night" where my 10-year-old invites over several friends to play with board games, puzzles, and kits like these . It builds friendship and is an inexpensive activity. It also gives the other parents a "Parents Night Out". Rotate it with other parents, and you'll soon be enjoing date nights again, while your kids are making life long friends!
These kits were fun and easy to make. The kids worked well together to build them, and as you may know, that's not an easy task. More times than not, group projects are a disaster, but these kits were simple, yet had multiple steps that the kids were able to work in tandem. It's great for sibling bonding as well.

Fun On the Ferris Wheel™ Building Set
